Depending on the season, Scott and Stewart Forestry Consultants  employs over 100 people in   in the Forestry industry in Nova Scotia.    Headquartered in Antigonish, Nova Scotia,  these  employees work primarily  in Northeastern Nova Scotia,   including Cape Breton.  In recent years,  projects have expanded to include work in New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador.

Our employees work in a variety of  forestry related occupations, including  Forest Technicians/Technologists,  Forestry Equipment Operators, Field supervisors, and Administrative personnel.

Starting in early May, we require Tree Planters, Crew leaders, and Nursery workers – These  seasonal jobs are ideal for university students who are looking for work following their school year.  Planting jobs usually run for about 8-12 weeks and include contracts in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

We also  hire Spacing saw operators to work from early May – to Mid-December depending on the weather.
